Why are most Christians not pacifists?

Why should they be? I ume you are alluding to Christ's pacifism, but that was then, and this is now. We need to interpret, re-interpret, and apply the basics to the life we live now, otherwise religion will not evolve but become calcified and dogmatic. And sometimes pacifism can be aggressive - as in pive aggression.
