No Will and mother dying?

My mother 10 days ago was alert and ill, I took her to hospital and she is not going to make it. She has been hit with cancer and taking her RAPIDLY, 4 days ago I barely got her to sign a POWER OF ATTORNEY, she is not alert or coherent anymore, and there is no will or LIVING TRUST. What do I need to do? I have a sister that has not spoken to my mother in 20+ years, I tried contact and searching her and no luck. What I need to know is what to do to the house? Will I be allowed to live it in? It is paid for and in her name. She was given 2 weeks and she has not been alert since I got the POA, 4 days ago
