Well, if he smokes, a zippo that means something deeper. A condomn, maybe cool colored or glow in the dark. Or what I did last year for my girlfriend, that is also a great idea, is to put numbered pieces of paper that have words on them, and he has to find them all and put them together like a puzzle to recieve his 'valentines day card.' Some other funny ideas are a small car that resembles his dream car, bacon flavored toothpicks are amusing. A nice cigar if he smokes them, some fuzzy dice for his car (although a little big) or if he plays xbox, maybe a new xbox game (although an expensive option).
