Is this normal for a parakeet?

You should be able to tell what gender he is by now and I think he's a boy. He will also stay yellow. He's a pretty boy, huh? If he wasn't drinking he would be dead by now. Don't worry I'm sure he is drinking. Birds don't drink that much so it would be hard to tell from missing water. He is only a parakeet and his brain is not smart enough to figure out that what you are spraying at him when he is a bad bird and what he is drinking is the same thing.
