GOOD Uni just outside of london?

I really want to go to a university which is outside of london but maximum distance: Milton keynes, Oxford, Epsom, Gillingham, Colchester and study something reated to Social work, Teaching, Youth, international relations, 3rd world development......and ofcourse i want to go somewhere with a good reputation, ive tried ucas but it doesnt tell you the exact reputation (as evry uni says they're great)...help?????
