Can you get arrested for falling in public?

I was on my Monday errands, walking my dog downtown when I tripped on a curb, I barely made it across the crosswalk, but I was afraid that I would be arrested for holding up traffic, but my face was bleeding and my dog is crushed by my leg, I tried to get up, but I did not want to crush my LooLoo. I eventually got back up but I was in a hurry to run away since I did not want to be caught upholding traffic. My face has made a full recovery, I still have a scar on my cheek and I can now rotate my eye. And if you can answer this, it would most be appreciated, how long can you walk bleeding on your face before you start getting infections and when people avoid you?
