AFFINIA HOTEL IN NYC?

I'm planning an overnight visit to NYC this December and am considering staying at the AFFINIA HOTEL. It looks well kept & clean, has my required amenities & at the price I'm looking for. It's also NOT on the bedbug registry website! However, upon researching the Affinia, I learned there is a firestation located next door. If anyone is familiar with this hotel I'd really like to hear your experience there. Is the hotel Noisy as some people have claimed?
